Ziv Shalev is an ASCAP and Academy Award winning musician. NYC based guitarist, composer and producer. (born July 5th, 1982).

Since his relocation in the U.S in 2005 he graduated from the City College of New York with two scholarships. One of which is the ASCAP foundation award honoring George and Ira Gershwin (2008). In his academic studies, Ziv concentrated on Classical music, student of Dr. Jonathan Piezlak and Pulitzer prize winner Prf. David Del Tredici. 

During that period, in Addition to his playing skills, Ziv acquired skills in composition and orchestration.


Today, touring globally and locally, Ziv is a full time musician. A member of the band Spread Eagle and over the past ten years he has been playing and producing over 40 full length records. Ziv is a diversed musician, playing genres from Rock to Jazz to Classical music. He has gained many credits, working with multiple artists from all over the world. He has performed on stages such as the Shamrock Festival, Carnegie Hall, Live performaces on WNYC and NBC New York to name a few.
